RCBE 2022 Update

Law No. 89/2017, of August 21, approved the Legal Regime for the Central Registration of the Effective Beneficiary.

Despite the fact that in 2021, due to the pandemic situation and the various exceptional measures that the Government and the Assembly of the Republic have established to make life easier for companies and citizens, this confirmation was waived, under the terms of article 8. of Decree-Law No. 22-A/2021, of March 17, 2022, annual confirmation of the information contained in the RCBE is mandatory.

This confirmation of the RCBE data must be done through an annual declaration by December 31, 2022.
